Finding a good mascara for me is definitely like finding a needle in a haystack. For someone who has dry skin in many areas, my lids and under eye are not so afflicted, but falls on the other end of the spectrum - oiliness - which prohibits me from being able to be carefree and experimental with my makeup. Worried? Accept it and then move on.

It's Monday! I had a wonderful and glorious long weekend where I didn't have to think about reality, and could just enjoy the many wonderful moments that happened throughout, including the photo above which was my view while I laid on a beach and stared at the wide and expansive sky and felt super good. Does listening to 60 bpm music help you relax?

Recently, I was in a restorative yoga class and at the end of the class, while we were in shavasana the instuctor started playing this very beautiful piece of music that had a constant and steady beat to it, with some instrumental musical accompaniment. I remember thinking, lying there with my eyes closed and my limbs all splayed out, this is soooooo relaxing. Teaching writing for the first time

I love writing but have never been super confident in my skills. I think University kind of took my passion for writing out of me when I was getting terrible grades on my papers. When I was a kid, I loved to write fictional stories that contained imaginary creatures and out of this world situations.
